At Houston’s First, worship is a place to connect with God and one another through music that stirs the heart and lifts the spirit.

From rich orchestral arrangements and choir-led praise to contemporary, band-driven services, each gathering invites you to engage fully — singing, reflecting, and encountering God in a meaningful way.

We celebrate every generation, equipping musicians and singers to use their gifts with passion and precision for God’s glory. Our goal is not applause, but to communicate salvation to the lost, encouragement to believers, and joy to the world. Like the psalmist who gave the Lord his very best declaring, "I will not offer to the Lord that which cost me nothing" (2 Samuel 24:24), we strive to offer worship that is authentic, sacrificial, and full of devotion, creating an experience that leaves hearts lifted and lives inspired.

Worship at The Loop

Worship Services at 9:15a, 11a and 4p. At 9:15a, worship features choir and orchestra alongside a contemporary band, offering a rich, full-bodied musical experience. The 11a service is led by vocalists and musicians, and The4 offers a more intimate setting for worship.

Worship at Cypress

Worship Services at 9:30a, 11a and 4p. Expect modern worship with energetic vocals and band, inviting you to sing along and encounter God in a fresh, uplifting way.

Worship at Downtown

Worship Services at 9:30a and 11a. Expect authentic, modern worship led by a talented band and vocalists, designed to help you focus your heart on God.

Worship at Sienna

Worship Services at 9a and 10:45a. Expect a contemporary, band-led worship that’s passionate and participatory, drawing the church into meaningful praise.

Worship en Español

Worship Service at 11a. Expect vibrant worship entirely in Spanish, led by gifted vocalists and musicians, celebrating God with passion and joy. Meets in The Chapel at The Loop Campus.

FAQs

Who can join the Choir or Orchestra?

The Loop Campus is the only campus with a choir and orchestra that serve through leading worship on Sunday mornings and during various performances throughout the year. Both are open to adults who feel called to serve through music and are committed followers of Christ. There is no audition to sing in the choir, but orchestra musicians must audition due to the nature of instrumental placement and ability.

How can I serve through worship?

The opportunities vary by campus! At The Loop Campus, you can join the Worship Choir or The Collective. At Cypress, Downtown and Sienna, there is a dedicated group of PATHMAKERS who serve the Lord through worship on various Sundays.
